Importing Our Own Characters (Donovan's Week 12 Update)

Hussaini has just finished his designs of the characters and I was in charge of importing his designs into the Visual Novel. I guided him on how to import it correctly in order to show the characters' height difference as well as ensure the characters are properly showing the correct 'neutral' emotions.

I won't be replacing the default characters with our original designs yet as I will be using it as a reference to progress Chapter 2 and subsequent chapters. By referencing, I man pacing the story and establishing the correct mood and atmosphere. Additionally, Hussaini has some criticisms of his design so I'll wait for him to improve on the design too before fully replacing the default characters.

Hai Yun's background design has also faced some criticisms of not being in the same style so I will also wait for her to finish it before replacing the backgrounds. However, there are some scenes that have yet to been designed by Hai Yun so I hope she can also do them as soon as possible. For the next 1-2 weeks, I plan to use my time to finish up Chapter 2 and work on Chapter 3 eventually. I will continue to update my work and progress. Thank you for tuning in!
