Open House Shift (Donovan's Week 19 Update)

Hello everyone!

Thank you for coming to our booth during the NP Open House 2020! If you can recognize me, I was the guy in black. I mainly took the morning shifts as that's when I'm free. I spent most of my time during the open house setting up the game and checking if there are any major bugs. So far, the only major bug I encountered was the message box not reappearing during Chapter 1 Scene 3. This bug would cause the screen to freeze and we needed to quit the application and relaunch it in order for it to work. Fortunately, I was able to pre-save the files so playtesters are still able to have the full experience of the game. (However, their names 'NP-Guest' because their save files are lost.)

Not only that, but I was also able to work on the current progress of our visual novel and I'm happy to announce that we are already done with the lessons for Chapter 5! This means I can move on to the last scenes which are the 4 different endings. Once these endings are done, I can finally start polishing the game. The amount of critical feedback I received was valuable and I will consider some of them when trying to improve our user interface or general user experience.
