Input Name Box & Classroom Background (Week 10 Update)

All User Interfaces have been finally completed! This week, the Input Name Box was finished, marking great progress to the development of our Visual Novel! With the User Interfaces finally done, we are now proceeding with the making of Chapter 2. So far, Chapter 2 will introduce the player to quizzes and activities that they will partake in with their eccentric lecturer, Mr. Malcolm, teaching them various lessons. From Programming Fundamentals to Principles of Design, these lessons will be spread across the various chapters and will also contribute to the different endings the player can achieve based on how many correct answers they have made.

Additionally, we have completed another background design from Hai Yun! The background she completed is the classroom where lessons with Mr. Malcolm will take place. The background comes in 2 versions: 'Table' and 'No Table'. The 'No Table' version will be used during the icebreaker scene when the player meets their new friends. While the 'Table' version will be used subsequently after that scene when Mr. Malcolm is teaching lessons and holding mini-tests for the class. We will continue to update our progress for the character design in a few weeks time. Until then, thank you for tuning in!
