Chapter 5 Rolling Out Soon! (Week 17 Update)

Chapter 4's scenes are finally completed and we are now moving on to Chapter 5, which will be the last chapter of our Visual Novel! To recap, Chapter 4 is a short chapter with a new set of programming lessons and a quiz followed by another home scene for the player to interact with their friends or spend their time being productive. Chapter 4's bonding scene will be within the interactions of the player's choice to interact with either Issac, Catherine or Talia via text messaging. To make up for Chapter 4's content, the lessons will be much longer and the quiz would have 1 challenging question in order to maintain the fun level of the player.

Chapter 5 will not have a bonding scene as it will be the end of the visual novel. Instead, it will consist of the 4 endings we have created based on the player's decisions. The different sets of endings will trigger once the player finishes the last quiz in chapter 5. For next week, we will be creating a short demo of the game for NP Open House 2020 so Chapter 5 may be slightly delayed. But no worries! The demo of our game will be the polished version of Chapter 1 so everyone can get the gist of what the overall game would feel like. Thank you to everyone again for your constant support!
